We hope you are doing well and have made it through this trying Covid Pandemic with little or no health issues. We are fine, and will be re-opening the Antiques And Collectibles Mall of New England on April 2, 2021, with lots of fresh to the market merchandise including lots of sterling silver, individual and sealed boxes of sports cards, lots of jewelry, some furniture, toys and signs.
Although we are fine so far, we know a number of people who have not fared so well, and a couple of people that passed on recently due to Covid. We are pleased that vaccines are becoming available to more and more people, but we know there are many, many people who have yet to be vaccinated (including us), so we are still requiring properly worn face masks at all times when in our building. As before, we will have hand sanitizer available for your use.
We have been working hard to be sure that your first visit back to our store will be an enjoyable experience. During the closure we made repairs to the heating system and plumbing, repainted the walls and floor of the restroom, and have been cleaning and reorganizing throughout the store, and we have been putting lots of new merchandise on display.
Before showing you the list of new arrivals, we’d like to tell you that we have a new neighbor that recently purchased the old railroad depot next door. They plan to restore the exterior of depot to its original appearance, and extend the building at the rear, keeping with the appearance of the original structure. We are excited that our new neighbor plans to restore the look of this historic 1880s train station and put it to a new use. We are sure those of you who enjoy visiting train stations will appreciate seeing this fantastic restoration project too.
Finally, here is our list of new arrivals. If there is something on the list of new arrivals that interests you, please come in, as we are not likely to have time to read and respond to emails during the normal store hours. We expect to be quite busy during our re-opening. Here are just some of the new items you may notice in our store:

May 1 - 2, 2021
(9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
After one unbelievable year of ‘pandemic chaos,’ the springtime “Power of Angels” Kitty Angels Fundraiser is once again going to take place on May 1 & 2 from 9AM-5PM. All the kitties and vendors have taken the necessary precautions and are excited to have you get out of the house and come visit with them for some fabulous finds, great “free” entertainment and most important of all, to help Kitty Angels! The weekend will showcase artists and artisans, crafters, professionals, food vendors, flea market and yard sales in a county-fair type atmosphere, featuring a live demonstration of oil painting and techniques by artist Eric Nickola, dba WolfpacStudios. Eric’s artwork will be on display and for sale; he also offers commission work. The bands and soloists for the event, consist of keyboardist/band member “Joey Peavey,” “Side Effects,” “The 5 to 9 Band,” “Jeff Robert,” “North Sound Duo,” “Levi Maxwell,” “Jeff Damon,” and Richard Parker as “Elvis!” Representatives of the Amherst Animal Hospital, will be on hand and Mapledell Farm of Townsend, MA, will bring a traveling petting zoo and also offer horse and pony rides for all! Featured throughout the fundraising weekend and into the month of June, is an electrifying raffle of numerous and diverse prizes, all generously donated by local and national businesses, professional sports teams, private individuals and some of the awesome on-site vendors. Kitty Angels, Inc. is the sole beneficiary of this event. They are a no-kill cat shelter and are made up of all unpaid volunteers, dedicated to rescuing stray and abandoned cats and kittens, furnishing them with treatment for injuries or other health issues and then placing them into new forever homes with compatible owners. They are a non-profit, 501(C) 3 charitable corporation where all donations are fully tax-deductible and every penny of every donation is used in the caring of cats. Please come, visit, and stay a while. Consider adopting a new life-long forever-friend as well. Yes, pets are always welcome, too!
